Ella Stewart

Energy Analyst

Ella Stewart is an energy analyst on Greenlink's technical team with a background in applying computational analysis to problems pertaining to energy and the environment. Ella first worked with Greenlink as an intern in 2022, where she supported clean energy policy impact modeling and rooftop solar feasibility studies. As a research assistant with Georgia Tech's Ice and Climate Lab, Ella utilized numerical modeling to study how changing conditions at the base of the Antarctic ice sheet due to warming oceans can be inferred by observing the surface of the ice sheet with remote sensing methods like LIDAR. In college, Ella headed up a student team with the solar nonprofit RE-volv, which went on to equip Georgia's largest animal welfare nonprofit with a 200-kilowatt rooftop solar array. Before coming back to Greenlink full-time, Ella spent 2 years in the renewable energy industry as a solar resource modeling analyst, where she performed the pre-construction generation modeling for over 1 GW of new solar and storage development.

Ella holds BS and MS degrees in Earth and Atmospheric Science as well as a Certificate in Sustainable Energy and Environmental Management from Georgia Tech
