Marcus J. Hopkins
Communications Technical Lead
Marcus is the Principal of The Matrix Consulting, LLC, a full-service consulting firm that provides communications and grant writing support, public policy research, professional writing, and program design. He has over 15 years of experience in the fields of HIV and Viral Hepatitis research, reporting, and public policy development, research, and analysis.
Based in Morgantown, WV, Marcus serves as the Founder & Executive Director of the Appalachian Learning Initiative (APPLI, pronounced like "apply"), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on researching, reporting, and developing solutions to address issues related to adult literacy, adult numeracy, and access to public health and social services in the 13-state, 423-county, and 8-independent city Appalachian Region.
Marcus's work at Greenlink supports the Comms Team's technical communications, including graphic and web design, website maintenance, social media development, and marketing.
